Most people will hiss, spit and foam at the mouth if they hear that none of my children have had any vaccines...none...not a single shot. The (false) accusation of 'medical neglect' keeps me from speaking up, at least until my children are older and I don't have to worry about anybody trying to make an example out of me.

But my story starts 30 years ago when one smart mom took notice of some troubling signs in her little boy. She stopped vaccinating him and managed to reverse much of the damage, all on her own with little support from anybody but her husband and her local Library.

Now that boy is a smart, handsome and successful adult. He still has some sensory integration issues, but he doesn't let that slow him down.

You probably think I'm the mother, or him, but I'm neither. I'm his wife. I will be eternally grateful to my mother-in-law for fighting to bring him back from the brink of autism so that I could have my soulmate.

Our kids have never had any shots, and do you know what else they have never had? Ear infections, strep throat, influenza, an endless stream of colds and viruses, learning disorders, diabetes, etc etc etc. My children are bright eyed, smart and the healthiest children you will ever, ever see.

Thanks for listening. :)IdaMomnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4153474524400281854.post-22034170429163040222011-04-08T20:23:05.907-07:002011-04-08T20:23:05.907-07:00Travis, You do not have autism. I ask that you not show up at the Fisher Cat's game on the 23rd. This is the subject of my book, A Compromised Generation: The Epidemic of Chronic Illness in America's Children. www.acompromisedgeneration.com. I will be speaking in Nashua New Hampshire on May 9th in an event sponsored by the local chapter of Weston A. Price and in conjunction with Integrative Nurse Practitioner Gail Vanark. The talk will be at the Nashua Library. I will be explaining why there is an epidemic of autism (and other chronic illnesses) and Gail and I will provide a bit of information on how one can begin the recovery journey.
Please come out and see us!
Beth Lambert
Executive Director, Epidemic Answers
www.epidemicanswers.org
Educate.
